Refurbished means that a computer has been used and subsequently reset and upgraded through a quality-assured process. Reset means that the computer is anonymized, data is deleted, tested, and cleaned to re-enter the market for its next life cycle.
Teqcycle offers refurbished products in the highest quality category. Each product has undergone technical and cosmetic treatment, so it appears almost new. For laptops, the battery has been tested to a capacity of 80% for Premium+ products and 70% for Premium products (compared to new).

Premium+ is a product renewed to like-new condition. It has been enhanced and repainted to feel like new. It comes with a 3-year carry-in warranty (1 year on battery). Battery capacity >80% (compared to new).
Premium is a product in very good condition. It has been renewed and polished or treated with a leather-like finish to feel almost like new. It comes with a 2-year carry-in warranty (90 days on battery). Battery capacity >70% (compared to new).
How much has a Teqcycle computer been used?
We source our used computers primarily from companies and organizations, who typically refresh devices after 2-4 years. Business laptops are built with robust designs and reliable construction, making them capable of lasting 10 years or more with proper care.

What does the warranty cover?
As a consumer, you have certain fundamental rights under consumer legislation, such as the right to complain and cancel. You can assert these rights with the retailer from whom you purchased your product.
The Teqcycle product warranty covers faults and defects, just like with new products, and includes:
- A 2–3 year product warranty that covers any faults or defects in the product (excluding battery).
- A battery warranty of 90 days for Teqcycle Premium and 1 year for Teqcycle Premium+.
Coverage valid across all European countries.
How long is the right of complaint?
The right of complaint for Teqcycle is the same as for new products. As with new products, battery-related complaints are subject to a limited period.
